Difference between powder coating and liquid paint
The main difference between a powder coating and a conventional liquid paint like spray paint is that the coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. The coating is typically applied electrostatically using a spray gun. The fact that the particles are electrically charged is what causes them to adhere to the surface. Then the coating baked under the heat to allow it to flow and form a super hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint.
